5 men walked on the footstep of Prophet Muhammad from Makkah to Madina

The following group of people belongs to the United Kingdom, they travelled to Madina from Makkah on foot to visit the prophet's mosque in Madina. In an interview, the group of people said that they want to experience the feeling of walking miles and miles as it was done by our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions during the expansion of Islam. Right now the group's picture is getting viral on social media platforms, especially among Muslims. Muslims around the world applaud their journey on foot and that too by following the footstep of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They reached Madina from Makkah via the "Hijrah" route.

More or less, each year we get to see such stories like the above from across the world, some come on foot as they didn't have much money to buy a plane ticket or same came on foot to fulfil or experience the sunnah of the beloved Prophet and his companions. But this time it's different because it's really very tough to find the exact footstep and the Hijrah route after 1400 years.

One member of the group Rashid Ali said " Following the footstep of our Prophet (PBUH) was like living and walking with him, we learnt so much about him, and our love for him has multiplied manyfold." We have completed a walk from Makkah to Madinah in the footsteps of the Prophet (peace be upon him) along the Hijrah route. It took us 185 hours to walk 547km.
