Imam of Kaaba Arrested for 10 years

IMAM OF KABAH ARRESTED FOR 10 YEARS

Sheikh Dr. Saleh Al Taleb worked as a judge at the Criminal Court in Saudi Arabia, and he never opposed the Saudi regime, however, he objected to the new policies which the Crown Prince wanted to force on society, whether in his dealings with the Israeli occupation state or in closing religious institutions and replacing them with entertainment institutions, these acts were criticized by the Sheikh Dr. Saleh Al Taleb at the end of his preach or (Khutbah). Dr. Saleh Al Taleb was arrested in 2018 but today in August 2022, he was sentenced to 10 years.

As of August 2018, Al-Talib had been arrested, but there was no official explanation for why he had been arrested. Al-Talib's arrest was reported by the social media advocacy group Prisoners of Conscience, which monitors and documents Saudi arrests of religious scholars and preachers.

While Saudi Arabia spearheads a siege against neighboring Qatar, some have publicly called for reconciliation between Gulf states. Over a year since the end of the boycott, the clerics remain in jail. It's not new for the Crowe Prince, earlier in 2020, we covered an article that stated that 5 Million Muslims starved to death in the past 10 years in Yemen due to Saudi Arabia's attack on Yemen, that very article was unpublished by Facebook and google and we got a notice of defamation (defaming crown prince Muhammad bin Salman) in that article from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Curbing the voices which raise against the crown is not a new phenomenon for the regime.

It was clarified by an activist that Makkah Imam Sheikh Saleh Al-Talib had been detained for speaking about depraved deeds after there had been a lot of confusion. There was considerable confusion surrounding this assertion. He was taken into custody in response to his condemnations of King Salman's misdeeds.
