The non-muslim of India started abusing Muslim Indian cricket player Mohd Shami after India's loss to Pakistan. the cricket faces abuses on his various social media handles and in private posts. Most of the non-muslims give an angle of favoritism by Shami to Pakistan as he and the Pakistan team follows the same religion. soon after this backlash hundreds of film stars, politicians, and cricketers came in support of Mohd Shami. Politicians like Rahul Gandhi and cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar are among some of them who support Shami during this backlash.
It was indeed, a historic win for Pakistan, but before that, they haven't won many such matches against India. Win or Lose is a part of the game. But people of India don't understand it and every time Muslims in India have to show a kind of certificate of loving their country. Their identity and presence are being challenged by the non-muslims. Living in India as a Muslim has become so challenging nowadays it doesn't matter whether you are a poor Muslim or a superstar Muslim, you will be targeted. One of the biggest superstars in the world Shahrukh Khan's son has been held in custody for almost 21 days even no evidence has been found against him but looks big superstars can win now to this fascist government.
