India bans Islamic schools from teaching Quran

The news went viral across social media platforms that 700 Islamic schools known as Madarasa's are banned by the Indian government but by fact-checking it we get to know that these schools are further converted into general schools, note to be pointed is that now no more Islamic teachings will be taught in these schools. Along with Islamic schools also Sanskrit schools are also converted into general schools for this purpose a bill was passed by the Assam government in India. Assam is a state in the south of India.

The conversion of these government-run Islamic schools was done under the law which was passed in the parliament, under this bill these Islamic schools will be converted into regular education schools or institutions. The news went viral when the education minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted about this and confirmed the news. The conversion of these Islamic schools will be completed by April 2021.

When addressing the people he added, "that this conversion will benefit the Muslim community and pave the way for the Muslim children to easily get a higher education, also he added it will be held under to right to education for every citizen of India".

In Madarsa's Muslim students are taught Quran and Islamic history along with a combination of subjects like Maths and Science. Now, by introducing this bill the authority for Madarsas to teach Islamic scripture the Holy Quran will be eliminated and now only these students will be taught general subjects and no Islamic teachings will be taught in these Islamic schools.

The officials said, "once the law is passed these schools will be converted into 'secular schools' which will not teach them about the Quran".

May Allah protects our Islamic schools, students, our Islamic schools, and all Muslims around the world, this is another crackdown on Muslims after China, which has already banned thousands of mosques, schools, and made Muslims slaves.
