3 Umrah Pilgrims dies 13 injured after bus collision with a camel in Saudi Arabia 

A bus that was carrying around 16-20 Egyptian pilgrims was met with an accident and overturned in Saudi Arabia, in the accident three Egyptian Muslims die. The Foreign Ministry of Egypt said in a statement that "an unspecified number of people were dead". The accident happened about 300 kilometers from the north-western city of Saudi Arabia, Tabuk, the bus was carrying the pilgrims for performing Umrah. The foreign minister for Egyptians Abroad provided these details to the Saudi officials.


While the Egyptian consulate in Jeddah closely follows the accident and is in contact with the families of the deceased and authorities to send the bodies to their hometown or home city. Meanwhile, the Saudi officials are finalizing all the procedures required for the home return of the bodies and determine the circumstances of the crash.


The initial reports say that on arrival to the hospital at first three were declared dead on the spot and 13 were being treated.

Our prayers are with the family members of those who died in the accident and as Muslims, it is our duty to pray for their forgiveness, may Allah accept their pure intention to perform umrah and forgive their shortcomings, may Allah give patience to their family members.
