Indian soldiers raped 30 Muslim women in Kashmir

It has been reported by the news channel and media partner BBC Urdu, in Kashmir about 25 years from now, Indian troops went and love here and there in the villages of Kashmir with the intention to rape the young and beautiful women of Kashmir while many were already raped by the soldiers and seeking justice till today and they got nothing but a humiliating life.

Soldiers raped 30 Muslim women and they all are seeking justice till now, out of those 30 women two are unidentified, lived in the village of Kashmir known as Kunan, they both share their story and said it was the night of winters in 1991 and they were going to bed and hear the knock on doors and was in fear as they got a sight that now they may be getting killed or raped anytime as the soldiers were doing these kinds of activities in that area since so long, and now they got a sight that now this time their turn has come as they were forced on gunpoint, while sharing this story they were still in fear and their whole body was completely shaking, they were literally shivering.


At those years the Indian army was conducting a mass level operation so that they could control the Muslims of Kashmir. This operation allowed the soldiers to enter any house any time with loaded weapons and arms. The men of the family are taken out, girls being captivated and tortured and young teen girls are being raped in their own houses. The suspect which are mainly male of the family was taken away by the soldiers and would rarely return to their home safely, sooner or later the news of their death surely arrives.

They were raped, the kids were beaten and the houses were burnt to ashes. The two nameless women for security reasons interviewed by BBC Urdu that they both were raped by Indian soldiers and with them 28 were also raped during that period.




But now, the Kashmiri women are asking for justice, Why they were raped and how this is staying as it is? where are Human rights and what happened to the UNO?

The case is now reopened against the soldiers which were filed by those two women who were raped and one lost her daughter for lifetime, according to sources the case was closed in 2013, due to the lack of evidence but now the case is reopened and we pray that later but they all 30 got justice and may we all get rid off from this kind of activity which is considered illegal and Haram in Islam, may Allah almighty protect and safeguard our sisters and daughter from these kinds of men and acts, Ameen

Naim Akhtar the minister of state says that even we know the reality but we are helpless to bring justice to all those women who were raped in Kashmir, but there is hope now as the case is reopened. A young author named Natasha Rather, PENNED her name in the petition filed by those two women and wanted that they all get justice soon, the author also got an award for her writing in the book "do you remember Kunan Poshpora"
