313 died in Gaza Today more than 2,200 injured

In a recent development in the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, the situation in Gaza has taken a grim turn, with the death toll surpassing 400 people, according to reports from Israel-based media outlet, The Times of Israel. This escalation follows a "surprise attack" by Hamas on Israel, involving a barrage of rockets fired into southern and central parts of the country.

Among the casualties are dozens of soldiers and police, highlighting the severity of the conflict. Additionally, more than 2,048 people have been wounded, with 20 individuals in critical condition and 330 seriously injured. Hospitals in the region are working tirelessly to provide medical assistance to those affected.

The conflict, which has raged on for over 24 hours, has seen intense firefights between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists in Kfar Aza, near the Gaza border. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) are actively engaged in efforts to neutralize the remaining terrorists in the area.

Furthermore, the rocket attacks and ground assault by Hamas have led to a death toll surpassing 300 on Sunday, with an alarming 1,864 individuals reported injured. Compounding the crisis, several Israelis have been taken hostage in Gaza, as reported by The Times of Israel.

In response to these developments, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hamas, asserting that they had initiated a grave conflict. He pledged that the IDF would utilize its full strength to undermine Hamas's capacity to continue hostilities.

The situation remains fluid, with ongoing confrontations and escalating tensions in the region. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, calling for an immediate ceasefire and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict and prevent further loss of life.
