An Elderly Muslim Man Shot Dead While Reciting Quran in Mosque. The man was a 55-year-old Muslim, Kamruzzama, he was shot dead while reciting the Quran at a mosque in Kolua village in Uttar Pradesh's Siddharthnagar, reported PTI news agency.
He was shot dead by an unidentified armed person who fired at the elderly Muslim man from behind whilst he was reciting the Quran after Fajr Adhan about 5 am. Two days have passed and no arrest has been made in this case.
Muslims and Dalits (Untouchables) are being lynched and killed on the basis of their religious identity and ethnicity in the world's largest democracy, and there is no hearsay about these atrocities with these two communities in any of the UN's agencies.
