42 Muslims Died in an Earthquake in Indonesia

 

According to Major News Media Broadcasting agencies like NY Times, Al Jazeera English & NDTV, atleast 42 people die due to a Strong Shallow Earthquake of 6.2 Magnitude hits the Island of West Sulawesi in Indonesia on Friday midnight. This happened soon after the tragic Indonesian Plane Crash which happened last week, which killed atleast 60 Muslims.

42 died due to an earthquake in Indonesia's Muslim Majority Region.  Our Condolences are with those families who have lost their near and dear one's in this strong earthquake, which shakes and collapsed the lands and buildings of Sulawesi. Surely, We belong to Allah, and to him is our return.

Initially, when the Earthquake hits the parts of Indonesia's Sulawesi Region (basically Sulawesi is situated on an Island) on Friday midnight,  according to the reports published by several honorable news Media partners, there were 42 casualties and 600 people were missing or struck inside the rubble.

But now several other honorable news Media partners published that around 46 dies and 15,000 displaced in the massive Indonesia earthquake (Zee Business News, India).

The earthquake not only damaged roads, bridges, hospitals, canals, houses, and apartments but it has cost the lives of 46 people (mostly Muslims). soon after the earthquake hits the Island, the power supply got disconnect as the powerhouse was burnt or demolished due to the earthquake. 

While according to Zee Business News, 15.000 are displaced, and hundreds of people got injured, many lost their loved ones and many lost their properties, houses, cars, and business complex.

We, pray to Almighty Allah may Allah give patience to the families of the victims and grant them the strength to recover from this great loss and disaster.
