Alhamdulillah, we are glad to tell you all that in this era where Islamophobia is at the peak in the western world, here is some relief for us as the leading scientist-couple behind Pfizer covid-19 vaccine is Muslims. They showed that we Muslims are nevertheless anti-humanitarian but a follower of humanity and peace. We as a whole community only knows how to save lives and how to save humanity. Also, Quran states "If you saved one life it is as you saved the whole of mankind and if you killed a single life it is as you have killed the entire mankind" [ Al- Quran].
Both the husband and wife hails from Turkey, the city of Sufism. Dr. Ugur Sahin and Dr. Ozlem Tureci. according to the trials and statics the Pfizer vaccine proved to be 90% effective. Their research and study will be a breakthrough for humankind as their hard work will save millions of lives, the BioNtech and Pfizer claimed that the vaccine will be available soon once it will prove as 100% effective and safe for humans.
The lead scientist Dr. Ugur Sahin hails from Turkey but raised in Germany as his family migrated from Turkey to Germany, Dr. Ugur Sahin is an immunologist.
Dr. Ugur Sahin migrated to Germany from Turkey and studied medicine at the University of Cologne, he graduated in the year 1990 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 1993 from the same university.
Dr. Sahin’s wife, Dr. Ozlem Tureci, is 53 years old, she is BioNTech’s board member, the company owned by her husband, Dr. Sahin. Dr. Ozlem Tureci is the daughter of a Turkish-Muslim physician who had migrated to Germany. The Muslim couple also runs an institution, to produce cancer immunotherapy tools and medicines. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has invested $55 million USD in the institute run by the couple.
