Today Al Jazeera English published a report stating the same information, also the world food program says it needs $737m to avert a famine in war-torn Yemen. The United Nations world food program has said that over 10 million people are facing food and health shortage in Yemen.
The outcome will be disastrous as it will cost millions of lives of poor children and their mothers, urgent action is required.
The spokeswoman at WFP said more than 20 million people were food insecure in Yemen, of which only 13 million receive humanitarian food help, which clearly states that there is no need income generation in Yemen and people even don't have few riyals to feed their children even a packet of milk.
