First Muslim Death Due to COVID-19 in India's Kashmir - 65 years old dies after battling Coronavirus

First of all, as Muslims, it is our duty to pray for his Maghfirah (Forgiveness). May Allah raise his rank in Jannah and save him from the torment of the grave.

There is a very popular hadith of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) " Allah's Apostle said, "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, abdominal disease, drowning or a falling building, etc., and the martyrs in Allah's cause." — Collected by Muhammad al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari[15]

Jabir ibn ‘Atik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “There are seven martyrs besides one who is killed in the way of Allah: the victim of plague is a martyr, the one who drowns is a martyr, the one who dies of chest pain is a martyr, the one who dies of stomach infection is a martyr, the one who burns to death is a martyr, the one who is crushed under something is a martyr, and the pregnant woman who dies giving labor is a martyr.”

First death due to Coronavirus in Kashmir, while four tests positive for the deadly virus reaching to the number of 11 in the state. The mayor tweeted on twitter today and grieving the family of the deceased. Four of his contacts also test positive for the virus and are under treatment.

Let pray together to Almighty ALLAH to protect the entire Muslim ummah from this deadly Coronavirus and may ALLAH also protect us from any kind of disease.
