Muslim Girl Burnt Alive For Resisting Sexual Harassment
20-year-old Gulnaz Khatoon in #India was burnt alive and dumped in a well by a Hindu man and his friends for rejecting a marriage proposal and resisting sexual harassment.
Gulnaz was burned after the accused poured kerosene over her in Rasoolpur village on October 30. She succumbed to her burns on Sunday.
The woman’s family says the police delayed in taking action against the accused, who were identified as Satish Kumar Rai, Chandan, and Vinod Rai.
This is not new in India, as far as we know India is a place where still practices like, dowry, endogamy, and primitive thinking are still existing. If someone marries a person from another religion he or she will be seen as a culprit by their communities and society, even people from the same religious background still believe in the marriage in their own caste, there is still prevailing the concept of lower caste and upper caste.
This time the 20 years old Muslim girl Gulnaaz become the culprit for the sexual desires of some upper caste people from the majority of India. When she resisted her harassment she was burnt alive by those who raped her.
