Beirut Blast left 300,000 people homeless, majority of them are Muslims



What we know so far about the huge blast which occurred in Beirut, Lebanon yesterday that a massive blast destroys Beirut's port, with damage extending over half of the city.
- At least 150+ killed, up to 3 lakh, people become homeless. Prime Minister Diab said that 2.750 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse caused the explosion.


Half of Lebanon's capital Beirut is affected by the damage of yesterday's blast.
Now, many famous political leaders and government officials have announced that they will visit Beirut and did every kind of help to rebuild the city.

As, far as the damage is concern the Muslims suffered the most. The blast damages ranging from $3-5bn - according to a report published by Al-Jazeera English.

60 of the injured people are in seriously critical condition, Beirut declared a disaster-stricken city.
The explosion was that high that it was heard and felt as far away as Cyprus.
The blast also destroyed Beirut's 3 major hospitals and left 2 damaged.


The PM Hassan Diab said "Those responsible for Beirut "catastrophe" will 'pay price'.

The blast was so intense that the survivors say "We can't believe that we are alive".
