Raffia Arshad becomes first hijab-wearing Judge in United Kingdom

We are feeling very blessed while sharing this news. A 40 years-old Muslim woman named Raffia Arshad becomes the first Muslim Hijab-wearing Judge in the United Kingdom. Of course this will encourage many more Muslim women to achieve their goals by following their religion and teachings of their religion in which there is advice for the women in Islam to cover up their heads and protect their modesty. Raffia Arshad will encourage thousands of Muslim women who think that with hijab on the society especially western will not adopt them and they can't be fit in their society and always be lacking to reach a higher post for being Muslim and Hijabi. "Ultimately Raffia broke the stereotype"

Raffia since her childhood always wanted to achieve something in the field of Law at a young age she decided to pursue her career in Law, and now she is a successful barrister and as well as appointed as " Deputy District Magistrate" (Judge) on the Midlands circuit last week.

Raffia Arshad is a mother of three children, she said in an interview," that it's just not about me (on achieving), but for all the women of the society, but in context, it is definitely for the Muslim women"

She also shared one moment when her own family said her not to wear Hijab in 2001: She grew up in West Yorkshire, being born as a Muslim in a Muslim family in western countries always gives you fears especially to your mom as people may be passed a racial comment on her daughter for being a Muslim and for wearing Hijab, Raffia had to attend an interview for a scholarship at the Inns of COURT SCHOOL OF LAW, HER FAMILY advised her not to go with hijab on.

May Allah bless her and many other young Muslim women also get inspired by her story and achieve their goals by forgetting any type of prejudice. She set an example that a Muslim woman can achieve all her goals by following the teachings of her religion and nobody can stop her.
