Mesut Ozil donated $101,000 in Ramadan to feed the poors in Turkey, Syria & Somalia amid COVID-19



The Arsenal Star and our very favorite Muslim Footballer Mesut Ozil has donated an amount of 101,000 dollars to the Turkish Red Crescent Agency, this amount donated by the Arsenal star Mesut Ozil will help provide food to people in Turkey, Syria, and Somalia during the Holy month of Ramadan. Mesut Ozil originally donated 713,000 Turkish liras which means $101,000 to the aid campaign led by Turkish Red Crescent for the Muslims in feed in the holy month of Ramadan.

As we all are aware of the economical conditions of Syria and Somalia, and we also know that international supplies have been cut off from these two nations since ages and especially Syria always have been gone through multiple calamities and genocides.

This amount will be used to feed the poor in those effected nations mainly they will be getting so many iftars for so many days with this money. Mesut Ozil did a great job. Anadolu group said that this amount will be used to provide Iftar to those in need in Turkey, approximately 16,000 people will get benefit from this amount in Turkey only.

While around 2,000 families in Syria will open their fasts with the meals provided by the foundation with the amount donated by Mesut Ozil. Indeed, surely Allah will reward him for this because, "Whoever does something good in the month of Ramadan, Allah multiples it by 70". - At-Tirmidhi


In Somalia, around 90,000 Iftar packages will be distributed in Somalia's capital Mogadishu. The head of the Turkish Red Crescent organization thanked the London-based footballer for the donation of a huge amount.

"The packages of food for those in need in these three nations will be benefited soon as possible with the amount donated by our brother Mesut Ozil" - Head of Turkish Red Crescent, Karem Kinik.
