Yes, you are getting it right, the Haramain official committee is doing every step to stop spreading the coronavirus outbreak in the Kingdom, after Kingdom's (Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia) KSA, declared the first case of Coronavirus in the Kingdom. Earlier the Saudi Authorities/Government ban all the entries of Pilgrims from around the world where the outbreak is devastating and taking many thousands of lives than whether the pilgrims are from China, Pakistan, India or any other part of the world even from Europe and Middle Eastern countries.
The Saudi authorities are washing and cleaning the premises of Holy Kaaba three-four times a day, recently the premises have been blocked and all gates leading to the Mataf area have been restricted no entries were allowed during the meantime while the work for sterilization was on the way.
People claiming that the news is fake but we take full responsibility for the authenticity of this news that the premises of Holy Kaaba were empty due to Coronavirus outbreak in the Kingdom, this restriction is temporary as the procedure of cleaning and sterilizing the premises of the Holy Kaaba is going on.
In addition to this, after a second confirmed case of Coronavirus in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia earlier today, the Saudi Government has suspended all Umrah, International and Local, and closed all the entry points of Makkah and Madina until further notice.

The Mataaf has been closed for perfect sterilization, while TAWAAF continues on the other floors of Masjid Al Haram. Umrah is suspended for an unknown period due to the outbreak of deadly Coronavirus, Local and INTERNATIONAL both types of Umrah are suspended.
The Salam gate of Masjid AL Nabawi which leads to the resting place of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A) and Hazrat Umar Farooq (R.A) is temporarily closed for complete sterilization.

This isn't true. People of Mecca are there and performing umrah/ visiting Mecca and performing 5 times Salah in Mecca.
